Polaris is sold around workflow value first, not line-item feature inflation. The live in-app pricing page still holds the transactional details; this page is the positioning layer.

Frequently asked

Common questions about Polaris.

What data sources does Polaris use?+

Polaris ingests filings directly from SEC EDGAR — 13F institutional holdings, 13D and 13G large-holder disclosures, Form 4 insider transactions, 8-K material events, 10-K annual reports, and 10-Q quarterly reports. Earnings and estimates data are proprietary to Polaris. SEC EDGAR content is public domain; other data is licensed for in-app use.

How fresh is the data in Polaris?+

Filings are ingested within minutes of SEC publication. Insider Form 4 transactions and 8-K material events typically appear the same trading day they are filed. 13F holdings appear within hours of the SEC receiving each filing, subject to the SEC’s 45-day post-quarter reporting deadline.

Who is Polaris designed for?+

Small-to-mid-sized hedge funds, family offices, and independent portfolio managers on the buy side; investor relations, corp-dev, and strategic finance teams at public companies; sell-side research analysts and independent research shops. Anyone whose workflow involves stitching ownership, filings, earnings, and market context together.

How is Polaris different from Bloomberg or CapitalIQ?+

Polaris is focused on a specific workflow rather than trying to be a general-purpose financial terminal. It connects investor behavior, stock ownership, company signals, and market context into one research surface. Pricing is a fraction of terminal-tier products, and it is designed to fit smaller research-driven teams with faster setup and less feature overhead.

Can I export data from Polaris?+

Yes. The ownership terminal exports to Excel with a single click. Portfolio comparison, earnings, and other datasets have export paths available. Bulk API access is available in higher plan tiers.

Is there a trial or demo?+

Yes. Book a founder-led demo at /book-demo. The best demo starts with a stock, a manager, or a research question you already have — bring a real workflow and we’ll show Polaris on your names rather than a canned dataset.

How does pricing work?+

Plans are priced around workflow value, not per-user seat inflation. Individual, team, and enterprise tiers. See the plan cards above for positioning, or the in-app pricing page for live transactional details. Talk to us via the book-demo page for enterprise pricing.

Can Polaris data be used in AI training or redistributed?+

SEC EDGAR data shown inside Polaris is public domain and can be used per SEC terms. Proprietary Polaris analytics (earnings estimates, ownership trend calculations, market intelligence synthesis) are licensed for in-app use only and are not authorized for redistribution or use in model training corpora.
